Akavar Fine Amish Portable Storage Buildings are built from
the finest materials by expert craftsman in our
manufacturing plants in Ohio and Pennsylvania. With
sales and distribution in seventeen states, chances
are you are in our free delivery area. Our premium
portable storage buildings are available in
sizes
from 8' X 8' to 12' X 32' in barns, lofted barns,
utility buildings, workshops, garages, and garden
houses. Custom built gazebos are also available.

Building Construction
Akavar portable storage buildings are hand built
from the finest materials used in the industry. Each
of our buildings are handcrafted by a master
carpenter. This high quality construction and
attention to detail ensures that an Akavar building
is the finest in the industry. There are many
standard models of portable buildings, but
customization is also offered. Whatever your needs
are we can build the building you want.
The Floor construction of an Akavar
portable building
All Akavar buildings have pressure treated 2" X
6" floor joists on solid 4" x 6" pressure treated
skids. Joists on 12" centers and 3/4" pressure
treated plywood decking makes for the best floor in
the portable building business. Pressure treated 2"
X 6" tongue and groove floorings an available
option. Our skilled installers will setup you Akavar
building completely level and on concrete blocks.
Grade differences of more than three feet will have
an additional charge for setup.
The Wall construction of an Akavar
portable building
Akavar portable buildings have walls which are
constructed using the finest grade siding available.
Akavar walls are constructed of treated lumber and
the nails are hot dipped galvanized ring shank.
Their holding power is like screws and will never
rust. Studs are 2" X 4" on 16" centers. All window
and door openings have 2" X 8" or 2" X 10" headers,
making our buildings the strongest and most durable
buildings in the portable building industry. The
wall paneling is your choice of 5\8" pressure
treated T1-11 panels, vinyl siding on 3/8" plywood
panels, Masonite siding, or Plywood board and
batten.
The Roof construction of an Akavar
portable building
Ventilation is an important consideration with
storage buildings. All of our Amish portable
buildings have screened roof vents and soffit vents
under each eave. Roofs can be either asphalt shingle
or metal, each with 25 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Shingles can be either architectural or three tab.
Shingle or metal roofs are installed on 5/8" OSB
decking.
Purchasing Options
No Credit Check Rent-To-Own
Akavar's No Credit Check Rent-to-Own makes it simple
and easy for you to have a high quality portable
storage building delivered to your home or business
today. You select the building of your choice, make
a small required down payment and your new building
is delivered to your home or business. You may
choose 36 month, 48 month, or 60 month rent to own
plans. If you choose to make all the monthly rental
payments, the building is yours. However, should you
ever want or need to return the building we will
pick it up with no damage to your credit. Storage
rentals require you to pay and pay but you never own
anything. With our rent to own plans you can rent
for as long as you like and then give the building
back or make all the payments and keep the building.
Cash
If you decide to pay cash for your new building you
will receive a discount. Discounts vary by the
building but normally are about 5% of the retail
costs. You may make you cash payment with cash,
personal checks, cashers checks, money orders and
major credit cards.
Low interest financing
At Akavar Portable Storage Buildings we offer low
interest, zero down, financing to well qualified
buyers with terms from twelve to sixty months.
